Student Company Restore in Riga Secondary school Nr. 93

Idea development. Children found their confederates and put forward ideas. Teachers helped to estimate the Business idea, to give the necessary recommendations for market research, to do organizational work to become a Junior Achievement partner school in order to use Student enterprise as a teaching method. Students agreed upon the final business idea, made a team and signed the contract with Junior Achievement Latvia.

Establishment of the company. Young people choose the name of the company, share the tasks, work out a detailed business plan and hand in the company establishment documents at the bureau of JAL. Teachers check the business plan and to consult on problems. Finaly established a real company, which legally is represented by JAL.

To run the company. Children produced the product , advertised and sold it, basically at the Student Company Fairs organized by JAL. Each month the report was produced. Teachers looked through he reports, activities, consult on problems, and take part in Fairs. Results are practical experience buying raw materials, producing of goods, advertising and selling.

Liquidation of the company. Children prepare liquidation documents to hand in at JAL, distribute profits if any.Teachers help to evaluate the achievements,  motivate to share experience with other children at school. Results are the whole enterprising cycle – starting with the idea and finishing with the liquidation of the company is accomplished in practice is examined.
